Instead of telling him some of my 'unsaid, then forgotten' thoughts (like the #2, yes that would have been a good one!), I said something like 'Hey you, how nice hearing from you...' and I even wanted to say 'Sometimes I still need you...', just like in that pretty The Xx song.....
